Everytime we sit down for a meal at a restaurant, we can almost guess the what the waiter will say. As a matter of fact, I mouth the words as they are spoken.
"Hi I'm_________ and I'll be your server"
I say "Hi I'm Steve and I will be your eater"
They say "Is this the first time you're here?"
I say " no, you served me last week Do I get something for coming back?"
I think this all goes to the wait staff being told to engage the customer, but this sure
gets old very quickly. Am I the only that feels this way?
